Technical Information

The Neptune seat is made of glass-filled polypropylene. The base frame is an aluminium casting which is coated with electrostatically deposited polyester. The tubes are anodised aluminium. The hand control and battery cover are made of ABS. The hand control button cover is made of thermoplastic elastomer.


The Neptune is in the official category of "internally powered equipment" and is not suitable for use in the presence of flammable anaesthetic mixture with air or nitrous oxide.


The equipment is tested in accordance with:

•BS EN 10535: 2006
•BS EN 60601-1:2006
•The European Council Directive 93/42/EEC relating to medical devices

The bath lift complies with the WEEE directive.
