Terms and Conditions

  1. Entrants can nominate themselves or nominate someone else to win.
  2. Entries will only qualify if all 3 pre-qualifying questions are answered correctly, the ‘reason’ is no more than 250 words, the contact details are complete and the products required have been specified on the entry form.
  3. Judges will be looking for creativity in the 250-word reason.
  4. Successful entries (point 2) will be put forward to the judging panel (anonymously).
  5. The judging panel will shortlist 10 entries.
  6. From the shortlist of 10 entries, 1 winner will be picked out at random on Wednesday 9th December 2009.
  7. Competition open to be won by adults aged 18 years or over and must be UK residents. Nominees can be made by those under 18 years of age.
  8. The competition is not open to any commercial organisations, local authorities or charities (although nominations on behalf of an individual can be made by someone in a commercial organisation, local authority or charity).
  9. Competition excludes entries from outside the UK.
  10. The prize of £1000 worth of products is based on the full retail price of each product (2009 Retail Price list).
  11. Products required must be selected from the 2009 Mountway product catalogue or the Granberg product catalogues. Winner can select any product(s) from the catalogue up to the value of £1000. If the selection goes over £1000 the winner will be liable to pay the difference. If the selection is less than £1000 there will be no money reward for the difference between amounts.
  12. The prize cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, or combined with any other offer or promotion and cannot be refunded once received.
  13. Products are only redeemable by the winner and must not be sold onto any other
    3rd party.
  14. Competition closes on Monday 30th November 2009, entries received after this date will not be included, however Mountway will still use details for future Marketing purposes.
  15. Judging and short listing will be undertaken by Wednesday 9th December 2009.
  16. One winner will be drawn out on Wednesday 9th December 2009.
  17. The winner will be notified on Friday 11th December 2009 and the prize will be delivered w/c 14th December 2009 (subject to product availability and winner availability).
  18. Once the winner is confirmed, changes to the winner names or to the product choices cannot be made.
  19. The competition is not open to Mountway or Nordic Care Services employees or their families.
  20. By entering the competition you agree to Mountway using your details to contact you in the future for marketing purposes.
  21. The individual who uses the product agrees to give Mountway a testimonial at the end of January 2010 on how the products have affected their lives. This testimonial will be used for promotional purposes.
  22. There will be a judging panel of 5 judges from Mountway and Nordic Care Services who will judge the anonymous entries that successfully pass the entry criteria (point 2)
  23. If you nominate someone else to win the prize and they are selected as the winner, you will receive £150 worth of Red Letter Days Gift vouchers.
